No wonder they can't get things right out there.
This site water balance produced by the mine does not include figures for the rainfall expected to fall across the site. Calculations made by residents put this figure at an extra 25ML for the mine to deal with, thus changing all of the figures in the three columns to the far right that have been marked with asterisks.
The regulators didn't pick this up.
